Auto Hail Repair International, PDR.
If you need hail repair, PDR (Paintless Dent Repair) International can help you out. PDR International is located in Little Rock, AR.
How it works:
No money is owed upfront or on the back end. The only way money would be owed is if you pull your vehicle out during the repair work session.
Hail damage must have occurred within the last 2 years to be eligible.
The car/truck must be 2014 or newer.
It takes about 10 minutes to file a claim.
It takes 2 to 4 weeks after you file the claim, depending on your insurance company, to get it approved.
Once approved, it takes about 1 to 3 days to get your vehicle repaired.
Rentals are available through either a company vehicle or Enterprise. A $50 deposit fee is required for Enterprise, but you will get that back after the vehicle is returned.
Total damage must be assessed to be $1,000 or less. If it's a bit over, we can still see if it qualifies.
To get assessed, it's better to book an appointment and come to the local shop because hail damage is more detectable under a light in a dark place. This ensures that all damages are highlighted, including those not visible in sunlight.
If you are interested, please check put the website provided.

1970 Dodge Challenger T/A
1970 Dodge Challenger T/A Sitting for 45 Years Is a Rare Barn Find in Sublime Green
Introduced in 1969 on the then-new E-body platform, the first-generation Dodge Challenger was a big hit, moving nearly 77,000 units in its first year on the market. And while it may seem rather common, the 1970 Challenger lineup included a few rare gems.
Nearly 73% of the cars were ordered in standard trim, leaving only 18,512 R/T models. Most of the latter left the assembly line with the 383-cubic-inch (6.3-liter) V8, and just 6,231 units were specified with the larger 440-cubic-inch (7.2-liter) RB and 426-cubic-inch (7.0-liter) HEMI mills.
The HEMI is arguably the rarest 1970 Challenger, with only 356 examples made. Just 60 were also ordered with the SE package, and only nine were convertibles. The 440 Six Pack version is also rare at 2,035 examples, while the regular four-barrel 440 found its way into 3,840 vehicles.
But Dodge also built a small-block gem that saw daylight in limited numbers. I'm talking about the Challenger T/A. Developed to homologate the Challenger for the SCCA Trans-Am series, the T/A was available for only a few months in 1970. And its short stint on the assembly line resulted in only 2,399 street-legal models being built and sold.
The T/A packs several unique features, including a low-restriction exhaust system with side-exiting pipes, a larger air scoop, a fiberglass hood, and a heavy-duty suspension. The stripe package is also unique to this car, as is the 340-cubic-inch (5.6-liter) V8 with a triple two-barrel carburetor setup.
An upgrade over the more common four-barrel 340, the Six Pack layout gave the T/A 290 horsepower to play with. And even though it's nowhere near as powerful as the big-block cars, the T/A has a solid advantage in terms of curb weight and handling.
Come 2023, the T/A is one of the most desirable versions of the 1970 Challenger. And while many cars are still around as restored gems, some are rotting away in junkyards and barns, often missing vital components. The Sublime green example you see here is one of them. But unlike other abandoned T/As, this survivor got a second chance at life, and it's roaming the streets again.
Documented by YouTube's "Auto Archaeology," this T/A spent most of its life off the road. According to our host, the Challenger was parked for unknown reasons sometime in 1977. So that's only seven years on the road and more than four decades in storage.
Parked with a four-barrel carburetor instead of the Six Pack setup, it remained in storage in Memphis and Arkansas until 2022. That's when the car was sold and dragged out of its barn. And surprisingly enough, the T/A emerged in surprisingly solid condition.
Sure, the Sublime paint has faded away, and the black vinyl top is long gone, but the body is straight and almost rust-free. There's some rust on the trunk floor, but it's an easy fix with a regular Challenger pan, which is relatively easy to find.
The engine bay was empty at the time of the rescue, but the car still had the original block. And even though the Six-Pack carb was gone, it came with a period correct unit. The driveshaft, air cleaner, automatic gearbox, and the original wheels (which are very rare) were still with the car.
Speaking of which, the automatic makes this T/A one of 1,410 vehicles built with this drivetrain combo. The vinyl top decreases that number even more. It's unclear if it came with a V1G gator grain top, but if it did, it's one of only 33 T/As built like this.
But the really good news about this Challenger is that it has since been revamped and put back on the road. It hasn't been restored just yet, but it's not a solid survivor that's no longer rotting away in a barn. And that's a win in my book.

Trump Watch #2
Trump has made more appointments. Here they are:
He has picked Mike Waltz as national security advisor.
Waltz is a retired Army National Guard officer, Green Beret, three-term GOP congressman, and longtime ally of Trump.
He has praised Trump’s push for NATO allies to spend more on defense but has not suggested the US leave the alliance.
He is the leading critic of China in Congress and has supported legislation to reduce US reliance on China and safeguard against Chinese espionage.
He’s also in support of a “culture change” in how the US approaches the defense establishment and purchases things within the Pentagon. Specifically, he has mentioned new technologies from Silicon Valley that could help with defense and security but haven’t been able to break through the bureaucracy to be considered.
He has appointed Mike Huckabee as US ambassador to Israel
Huckabee is a former Arkansas governor, ordained Baptist minister, and a Fox News show host from 2008 to 2015. He also ran for president in 2016.
He is a strong supporter of Israel and once stated, “There’s no such thing as a Palestinian.”
He has nominated Pete Hegseth for secretary of defense.
Hegseth served in the US Army with tours in Guantanamo Bay, Iraq, and Afghanistan and was also a Fox News host.
He is opposed to programs that promote equity and inclusion in the military, has said women shouldn’t serve in combat, and suggested pardoning service members charged with war crimes.
He has picked John Ratcliffe for CIA director.
Ratcliffe served as director of national Intelligence during Trump’s first presidency.
As director of national intelligence he was accused of declassifying intelligence for use by Trump and Republican allies to attack political opponents.
Ratcliffe is the “China hawk,” calling China the top threat to US interests and the rest of the free world.
He has picked Steve Witkoff to be his special envoy to the Middle East.
Witkoff is a real estate investor, landlord, and founder of Witkoff Group.
He has also been appointed as co-chair of Trump’s inauguration.
Special envoys are not standard diplomats and typically focus on specific issues in a time limited manner. It is unclear what Witkoff’s role will be.
He announced Kristi Noem would head the homeland security department.
Noem is the governor of South Dakota.
She resisted most government regulations to slow the spread of infections during the COVID-19 pandemic.
She is the governor criticized for killing her dog after it killed some chickens.
She has been a key supporter of Trump’s immigration and deportation policies and has strained relations with both the Oglala Sioux tribe and Cheyenne River Sioux tribe.
He has chosen Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy to head the new Department of Government Efficiency to “slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure Federal agencies.”
Ramaswamy is an American entrepreneur and vocal supporter of Trump. This appointment means he is dropping his candidacy for the Ohio Senate seat left vacant by JD Vance.
He has called for mass layoffs of federal workers and the elimination of multiple federal departments including the Department of education.
Musk is the Tesla and SpaceX CEO who has taken in billions from federal contracts.
He asked voters to brace for economic “hardship” and deep spending cuts.
He has appointed William McGinley as White House Counsel.
McGinley was a partner at two international law firms and served in the first administration for Trump as the White House Cabinet secretary.
He has a long history of working with political figures regarding ethics and campaign compliance.
He has appointed Lee Zeldin for the EPA
Zeldin is a former New York congressman
He said this of his appointment, “We will restore US energy dominance, revitalize our auto industry to bring back American jobs, and make the US the global leader of AI. We will do so while protecting access to clean air and water.”
He has opposed some climate-related legislation while serving in congress according to the League of Conservation Voters.
He has appointed Stephen Miller as White House deputy chief of staff for policy and homeland security advisor.
Dan Scavino, James Blair, and Taylor Budowich have also been announced as deputy chiefs of staff.
Miller is one of Trump’s longest serving and most trusted advisors working with Trump on his 2016 presidential campaign and joining him as senior advisor at the White House.
He helped draft many of Trump’s speeches and plans on immigration.
He is expected to pick Marco Rubio as Secretary of State
Rubio is a Republican Florida senator and the son of Cuban immigrants. If picked he will be the first Latino US secretary of state.
He voted against the $61 billion military aid package for Ukraine and favors negotiation and an end to the war rather than further support to Ukraine to remove Russian forces for its territory.
More to come regarding Trump's announcement of dismantling the Department of Education and establishment of the Department of Government Efficiency.

LETTERS FROM AN AMERICAN
September 27, 2023
HEATHER COX RICHARDSON
Exactly a week ago, Jake Sherman of Punchbowl News reported that Republican House leaders were talking about moving the government funding debate away from spending levels—their original complaint—to border security. “[T]he vast majority of House R[epublican]s,” Sherman wrote, “would rather fight on border policy than spending.”
True to form, party leaders today began to insist that we are barreling toward a shutdown because of President Joe Biden’s policies on the southern border. House speaker Kevin McCarthy says he wants to meet with Biden to “cut a deal.”
But, of course, McCarthy already cut a deal with Biden, back in May, that provided a clear roadmap for this year’s funding. McCarthy is refusing to honor that deal.
The Republicans’ willingness to invent a new reason for their threatened government shutdown suggests it was never about principle so much as about power. They are quite aware that the cuts the extremists are proposing before they will agree to fund the government are unpopular, so they have manufactured another reason for the shutdown that they hope will be more palatable to the country.
At any point, McCarthy could agree to work with the Democrats to pass the 12 appropriations bills that will fund the government. Last night, by a vote of 77–19, the Senate illustrated how that could be done by passing a bipartisan continuing resolution to fund the government through November 17 and to provide additional funding for Ukraine.
Today, McCarthy told Republican House members that he would not bring the Senate’s measure up for a vote. Instead, he will continue to court the extremists, who spent the day posturing. At the motion of Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), for example, they voted to reduce Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s salary to $1 a year. They went on to pass a number of similarly extreme measures that will never make it through the Senate.
House minority leader Representative Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) accused Republicans of using the threat of a shutdown “to jam your right-wing ideology down the throats of the American people.” The bills they were advancing, he said, had “zero chance of becoming law…. And they’re filled with extreme policy poison pills.”
For all that McCarthy is trying to pin the blame for a shutdown on the Democrats, it is the House Republicans who are refusing to perform the most basic of government procedures: fund the government for the next year. When Republicans have shut down the government in the past, the American people blamed them for it, and today Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) called out his House colleagues, clearly trying to isolate them, likely hoping to keep them from tainting the whole party in the eyes of voters before the 2024 election.
McConnell called out his colleagues on their new switch to complain about border security: “A vote against a standard short-term funding measure is a vote against paying over $1 billion in salary for Border Patrol and ICE agents working to track down lethal fentanyl and tame our open borders. Shutting down the government isn’t an effective way to make a point,” he said.
The 2024 election was also on former president Trump’s mind today. He was in Michigan tonight to try to draw attention away from the Republican primary debate that he refused to attend. But while President Biden yesterday visited the United Auto Workers picket line, Trump visited a non-union shop and talked about a future “fueled by American energy” and “built by highly skilled American hands and high-wage American labor.” As Craig Mauger of the Detroit News noted, however, “his address was short on specifics for how he would accomplish the goals.”
Trump told the crowd to get the UAW to support him, but the UAW doesn’t represent the workforce where he was speaking. Mauger noted that one woman holding a “union members for Trump” sign acknowledged she wasn’t a union member, while a man with a sign that said “auto workers for Trump” said he wasn’t an autoworker. The plant where Trump was speaking employs about 150 people, but 400–500 Trump supporters were there for his speech.
Yesterday, UAW president Shawn Fain said, “I find it odd he’s going to go to a non-union business to talk to union workers. I don’t think he gets it.”

What to Ask Before Signing an Apartment Lease: A Renter’s Guide
Signing an apartment lease is a major commitment that can affect your finances, lifestyle, and overall living experience. Before you put pen to paper, it's essential to ask the right questions to avoid surprises down the road. Whether you're a first-time renter or an experienced tenant, this guide will help you navigate the leasing process with confidence—especially if you're considering Apartments in Russellville, AR.
With its growing community, affordable living options, and proximity to Arkansas Tech University, Russellville, AR, is an excellent place to rent. However, just like anywhere else, understanding the lease terms and policies is crucial before committing to a new home. Here are the key questions to ask when renting an apartment.
1. What’s Included in the Rent?
Rent isn’t always just about paying for the space. Some apartments include utilities, parking, or amenities, while others charge extra. Ask the landlord or property manager:
Are utilities like water, electricity, gas, and trash included?
Is Wi-Fi or cable TV provided, or will I need to set it up separately?
Is parking free, or is there an additional cost?
Are there any extra fees for using amenities like the gym, pool, or laundry facilities?
2. What Are the Lease Terms?
Understanding the lease agreement prevents misunderstandings and financial pitfalls. Ask:
Is the lease a fixed-term (e.g., 12 months) or month-to-month?
Can I break the lease early if needed? What’s the penalty?
What happens at the end of the lease—does it auto-renew or switch to month-to-month?
3. What Are the Security Deposit and Fees?
Upfront costs can vary greatly. Get clarity on:
How much is the security deposit, and what does it cover?
Are there any move-in or application fees?
What conditions must be met to get my full deposit back?
4. What’s the Policy on Rent Increases?
Many renters are caught off guard by unexpected rent hikes. Ask:
Is there a set percentage increase after the lease ends?
How much notice will I receive before a rent increase?
Are there any rent control laws in this area that apply?
5. What Maintenance and Repairs Are Covered?
Knowing who’s responsible for maintenance can save you headaches later. Ask:
Who handles repairs and maintenance—the landlord or a property management company?
How quickly are maintenance requests typically addressed?
What’s the procedure for reporting emergency repairs?
Am I responsible for minor repairs like replacing light bulbs or fixing a clogged drain?
6. What Are the Rules on Pets?
If you have (or plan to have) a pet, check for restrictions. Ask:
Are pets allowed, and if so, are there breed or size restrictions?
Is there a pet deposit or additional monthly pet rent?
Are there designated pet-friendly areas or restrictions within the building?
7. How Are Noise and Neighbor Complaints Handled?
Your quality of life depends on a peaceful living environment. Ask:
Are there quiet hours or noise restrictions?
How does the management handle complaints about noisy neighbors?
Is the building soundproofed or known for being quiet?
8. What’s the Subletting and Guest Policy?
If you plan to travel or have long-term visitors, you’ll need to check the rules. Ask:
Can I sublet my apartment if needed?
Are there restrictions on how long guests can stay?
Do guests need to be registered with the landlord?
9. What’s the Parking and Transportation Situation?
If you own a car or rely on public transport, parking and accessibility matter. Ask:
Is parking assigned, or is it first-come, first-served?
Are guest parking spots available?
How close is the nearest public transportation stop?
10. What’s the Move-Out Process?
Avoid hidden fees or last-minute stress by clarifying move-out procedures. Ask:
How much notice is required before moving out?
What cleaning or repairs am I responsible for before leaving?
Will I receive a final inspection before my deposit is returned?
Final Thoughts
Signing a lease for an Urban Loft Co. apartment is an exciting step toward stylish and modern city living, but it’s important to be fully informed before making a commitment. By asking the right questions—about rent inclusions, lease terms, maintenance policies, and community guidelines—you can ensure a smooth renting experience without unexpected surprises. Spencer Lloyd: From American Idol to homophobic church, with boxing, modeling, fitness, and nudity in between
Tumblr media
Making the rounds of actor photos this morning, I came across a "Spencer Lloyd" video.   No other photos, but another n*de pops up on a google search.
No one by that name is listed on IMDB, but when you dump "Spencer Lloyd" into a search engine, it wants to auto-fill with the Canadian tv series Heartland: a multi-generational soap opera set on a ranch in Alberta.  He must have appeared somewhere in the nearly 300 episodes to date -- the IMDB often omits actors.
Googling "Spencer Lloyd" and "Canada" reveals a young guy, probably just out of high school, who played hockey for the Beaver Valley Nitehawks in British Columbia.  He must have done that before he broke into showbiz -- or tried to break in.
After extensive research on Instagram, Facebook, the American Idol Blog, and Fame Watcher, I have pieced together Spencer's biography.
Tumblr media
Our Spencer Lloyd grew up in Bryant, Arkansas. In 2013, at the age of 19, he got on a bus with 3,000 other hopefuls for American Idol auditions in Little Rock.  He made it as far as the Hollywood round, where, he sang "Ordinary Girl" in the Wild-Card. And then got booted.
Tumblr media
In March 2016, Spencer found his way to Nashville, where he signed on with Wilhemina Modeling.  This must be where the n*de photo comes from. He moved to Chicago in May 2016, and went to work as fitness instructer at Barry's Chicago.
Tumblr media
In 2019, Spencer became a boxing instructor ar Rumble Boxing Gold Coast. Here he says "The real ones never seek validation."  I want to know more about his shirtless buddy.
This sounds a lot like a straight guy's career path, and FameWatcher has a quote from Spencer's now-defunct Twitter: "Things I want my Wife to do: -be gorgeous -love God -stay up as late as possible watching Superhero movies and transformers."
He has an Instagram with only 13 posts, one from June 2024 pointing out that "my wife is a badass."  Ok, straight.
In February 2023, Spencer became the music director at the City Church, Chicago -- extreme fundamentalist, Biblical literalist, "gays are going to hell" type.  Gulp, straight and homophobic.
Tumblr media
So why does this homophobic straight guy have nude photos and a j/o video online?
The full profile, with the explicit photos, is on RG Beefcake and Boyfriends

Oldsmobile’s Experimental ’66 Toronado Station Wagon
Tumblr media
What if Oldsmobile produced a Toronado station wagon? General Motors was intrigued enough by the idea to build a prototype or two.
It’s only natural that General Motors and its Oldsmobile division would seek out additional applications for the advanced front-wheel drive unit designed for the 1966 Toronado. Known internally at GM as the Unitized Power Package or UPP, the powertrain module was a tidy, versatile package, and surely a bundle had been invested in its development. The next application following the Toronado, of course, was the 1967 Cadillac Eldorado. And since one great benefit of the UPP front-drive system was that it allowed a low, flat floor, another use that easily came to mind was a station wagon.
Tumblr media
By March of 1966, the GM design had a full-sized studio model ready for display at the Tech Center’s styling court (above). As we can see, this was essentially a European-style shooting brake adaptation of the production Toronado coupe. Sporty, yes, but the two-door wagon didn’t offer much more in the way of useful interior volume over the standard Toronado.
Taking a more practical approach, GM built a full-sized, four-door wagon prototype using the Toronado drive unit and front-end sheet metal. But at the time, Oldsmobile didn’t offer a full-size wagon—its largest wagon was the Vista Cruiser, based on a stretched  A-body intermediate platform. So a Pontiac full-sized wagon body shell, from the firewall back, was merged with the Toronado front clip. As the photos show, the Olds/Pontiac mashup was more of a basic proof-of-concept rather than a finished prototype. The tail lamps fit oddly and the front and rear wheel openings don’t match at all.
Tumblr media
Leading automotive historian Michael Lamm, writing in the late, great magazine Special Interest Autos (July-Aug 1978) reported that in fact, several of these experimental front-drive wagons were constructed. Mr. Lamm also noted that GM styling vice president Bill Mitchell raved about the flat, unobtructed floors, and he included this awesome Mitchell quote: “With the tailgate down, you could run a motorscooter into it.”  But as we now know, the front-drive, Toronado-derived station wagon was never sent into production—though the UPP was later used to power the 1973-78 GMC Motor Home.
There was another Toronado station wagon, not that Oldsmobile had any direct involvement. In 1968-70, American Quality Coach of Blytheville, Arkansas produced the AQC Jetway 707 airport limousine. A Toronado with its wheelbase extended five and a half feet, it sported tandem rear axles, five doors per side, and a Vista Cruiser-ish station wagon roof. Somewhere between 52 and 150 of these behemoths were reportedly built, various sources say, and a number of them are still around.

Cornelius R. Coffey (September 6, 1903 - March 2, 1994) was the first African American to establish an aeronautical school in the US. His school was the only non-university affiliated aviation program to become part of the Civilian Pilot Training Program. His pioneering efforts led to the integration of African American pilots into the American aviation industry.
He was born in Newport, Arkansas. In 1925, he left Arkansas for Chicago, to study auto mechanics. He cofounded the Challenger’s Air Pilot’s Association to support their attempts to enroll in aviation programs in the Chicago area. They built a one-seat airplane powered by a motorcycle engine. They taught themselves to fly.
He enrolled in the Curtis-Wright School of Aeronautics. He entered the aviation mechanics training course and was among the school’s top graduates. He became the first African American certified aircraft mechanic in the US. He became the first African American to hold both a pilot’s license and a mechanics license.
He established the first African American-owned and certified flight school. The Coffey School of Aeronautics was located at Harlem Airport in Oaklawn, Illinois. He recruited Clyde Hampton, Willa Brown, a former student who became his wife and other pioneer black pilots as instructors. Chicago was considered the leading city for Black pilot training prior to WWII. Many of the original Tuskegee Airmen got their initial training at the Coffey school.
In 1939, he and Willa Brown, the first Black member of the Civil Air Patrol, and Enoch P. Waters formed the National Airmen’s Association of America. The main goal of this club was to send Black aviators to the military and to expose African Americans and other people of color to aviation. This goal was realized when the Tuskegee Airmen unit was formed by the Army in July 1941.
He was the first African American to have an aerial navigation intersection named after him by the FAA. The FAA created the “Coffey Fix,” a waypoint located on the VICTOR 7 airway over Lake Calumet.
He continued to fly until he was 89 years old. #africanhistory365 #africanexcellence
